can’t fall for it

I can’t fall for it
it seems too loose
to tie a knot
it is a false loop

am awesomely indifferent
I know not what to say
or even to ask that one
sitting in the opposite space

do I resist…but I am not afraid?
then why is it that I become a sage
slowly opening the envelope
one will find nothing at this age

though it’s just numbers
and I am no more in the man made cage
wind has taken the gone old days
new are sewed simple with no maze

  1. Oh, so well-written! Beautiful! ❀

At the risk of becoming too repetitive, I tell my story again that twelve years after my husband's death, Robert and I found each other at 65 and 66. We have been together for eight happy years! πŸ™‚

You deserve happiness. Don't settle for less. ❀ Have a great week!
