Can’t Pour Them

words want to come out but I can’t. collecting quietude from the cool wind to calm the enraged heart. it hurts. it does really. but its been years, years of solitude inside which could not be erased by the coming and going of unkempt lovers. love, I carry you within.

Words

can’t pour them directly as it would fill many with questions. questions, the answer to which might numb the reader for a while but hope on that part has died.

over the years, self taught to make pace with the world and the sincere world within learnt to dance with the beating heart. unafraid, I became.

tears have been replaced. crossed many fears and became the one who I am now.

abuse me on my face, face me when you dare to keep me in talks, let me see to how have you nurtured yourself and if I am not wrong, you are still wearing graduation pants.

but I care not.

True Paper Love

love letters
postcards
reading them
under the stars

true love
words like dove
eyes fixated
paper scented

purity perceived
truth revealed
hearty writing
a sigh of relief

golden days
simple ways
confessed emotions
pen and paper
the solution

Falling Away by Bree and Kritika

I would have caught but you fell away instead
I am unsure why, I thought
My words were complete and clear that I was on your side
I wanted to be a safe place for you to confide
For you to live life free.
Perhaps that scared you. Perhaps it was too much.
Perhaps you didn’t want to be safe.
I would have welcomed your rawness.
I would have endured your moods.

I wished to stand by your side
and for you,

would have happily indulged in a fight
I wished to let you know you are the place for me to reside, but
I also have my life and I know when I cease to be required.

I hope one day you allow yourself to be seen completely.
I am someone to hold onto
I will hold on forever
But you chose
to fall away.

For the audio version, please visit: Falling Away (collab with audio) – Secret Thoughts Within. I am sure the audio version will tempt you to read more of Bree’s work. The link to Bree’s blog is mentioned along with her name above. Her voice is enchanting. I became her fan immediately after hearing her read one of her works.

Thank you Bree for being patient with me. It was an amazing experience working with you. You are a jewel. I really enjoyed sharing my views and you appreciating my changes. It was a great pleasure.
